23 April 2020
Whether you're running around the garden/balcony for 2.6 miles, doing 26 press ups with the dog on your back or cycling 26 miles on your exercise bike, we want your help to save the UK's charities and join The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation.
With many fundraising events being postponed, whilst we are all still hopeful these events will go ahead at a later date, charities across the country have been left struggling to maintain their services, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
How do I get involved?
No need to be a marathon runner to take part – this is a challenge for all ages and abilities. Just get thinking of an activity based around the numbers 26 or 2.6 and complete it on or from Sunday April 26. There are lots of ideas here.
Perhaps you could join together with colleagues from work to challenge each other to each raise £260 – and perhaps your employer would agree to match fund the total raised? Go on – ask them!
The only requirement is that you must follow Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing. Don’t worry if you’re not able to get out of your house or flat for now. We can all be heroes in our own homes, balconies and gardens.

Help us to inspire the nation by sharing pictures or videos of your challenge on social media using the official hashtag #TwoPointSixChallenge – please also tag @danielspargomabbsfoundation (Facebook) or @foundationdsm (Twitter).
Once you’ve done yours, why not nominate someone else to take on The 2.6 Challenge!
And don’t worry if you’re not able to get out of your house or flat for now. We can all be heroes in our own homes, balconies and gardens.
Thanks for joining with The 2.6 Challenge to support The Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation.
